i cant for the life of me think of anything to say here, maybe i'm too busy creating myself

maybe i'm too busy evaluating stuff

maybe i have said everything worthwhile that ever crossed my mind

and now that i've said i have nothing to say i'll think of something

for sure

  1. I think it's about both finding AND creating yourself. Sometimes you're uncovering unsuspected traits and attitudes, sometimes you're inventing them when there's nothing there but the situation calls for something.

I shall now invent a hitherto unknown passion for pecan pie. Particularly with whipped cream and maple syrup.

  2. how do you intend to serve the whipped cream and maple syrup?

  3. Say whatever comes into your head. Those actually end up being my best posts...

  4. I've invented a special spoon with two bowls, to dispense both the cream and syrup simultaneously.

Oh, and I've invented a special fork with ten prongs, to spear ten peas simultaneously.

Eating's a doddle in this household.

  6. Don't worry, Kylie, there's nothing new to say anyway, I don't think. All that is left is to express things in our own way and out of our own experience.

I'm sorry you felt ignored on my blog. You must have commented while I was responding to comments because I didn't see what you wrote at that time. I approved it, of course, which means that I saw it later, but then when I responded to a fresh batch of comments, yours was above my last response, so I overlooked it. I'm sorry.

  8. nick,
getting ten peas on a fork doesnt sound like a doddle but i guess it is a reasonable kind of party trick...

that makes me as special as snow, right?
so, now that we both have 500 posts and should quit blogging, what action are we going to take?

    snowy!

  11. King Solomon said that there is nothing new under the sun.

    Probably in Ecclesiastes or Proverbs

  12. Kia ora Kylie,
Reading your words and comments it seems you are "saying" something even when not aware of it. Those thoughts are most often the best ones. Kia kaha.

Aaaargh! I say nothing even when I think I am, and Kylie says something even when she thinks she isn't. God just likes her better, I suppose, maybe because Kylie believes in her.
