Kylie, listen to Boney M. *Mary's Boy Child, Oh My Lord*. (YouTube)
Near the end the lyric is true to what the Apostle Paul preached: *Oh My Lord, you sent your Son to save us. Oh My Lord, your very self you gave us. Oh My Lord, that sin may not enslave us, and Love may reign once more.*
This is great Biblical theology as is Charles Wesley's *O For A Thousand Tongues* (YouTube).
The Salvation Army Bands make Christmas, don't they? Do you know the story of Martyn Lloyd-Jones? He had talked about leaving Bart's Hospital in London and preaching full-time, but he loved medicine, and colleagues said he would be a loss to the profession. He was at the theatre with his wife near Christmas, 1928 or so, and as they walked across Leicester Square, the Salvation Army were playing hymns. The Doctor thought, *These are my people,* and he made up his mind to enter the ministry. It's in a great biography of Martyn Lloyd-Jones by Iain H Murray (Banner of Truth).
