Poem 46


Jim was a Facebook friend of mine, a gracious, loyal, good man, uncomplaining in the face of terrible illness and I think loneliness.
He passed suddenly today, far too young but having had a very hard life. May he have a beautiful eternity.

      He was a friend of a friend so I never interacted much. He was so sick himself but he always had her back. I think I thanked him once. I hope I did

    I liked the immediacy of the first four words.
    Even people that we never meet in person can touch our lives.
