  1. Is that a red flowering gum? Nice looking small tree, about the right size for a nature strip

  2. Oh my goodness - so sunny!! Such a joy to see on this truly grey, miserable day in the UK!

  3. That is so pretty for a cold, flowerless day in December. Is that a crepe myrtle?

  4. Cathy, It's a West Australian Flowering Gum, it's pink and it's called Summer Beauty. It's been there 20-ish years so smallish for it's age.

Ms Scarlet, You're not having a fabulous winter in the UK. Hopefully things will improve.

PP, it's a West Australian tree, they don't go so well here in the east so it's grafted onto a more resilient root

  5. Nice photograph. The clear sky behind highlights the effect.

  6. Ramana,
I'm very fortunate to have small houses on every side so everyone has a little bit of room to breathe
