I don't seem to have much to say right now so I thought I would share some of my favourite photos from the last few weeks.
I always love seeing fruit and veg in large quantities and take a photo of something different to Instagram every Friday. I guess it's weird but maybe unique counts for something?
My youngest daughter and her beau. Oh to look so good, so easily!
She wanted a picture with her mama :)
A charred leaf, The only one we got this time
I have no idea why I like this one so much, something about the light maybe
King of all he surveys
I remember when I had to have this grevillea. I was right.
Hello Kylie. I popped in to say hello after responding to your visit to me. Love that last photograph, is it a native plant?
ReplyDeleteHi Valerie!
DeleteIt is a native plant but bred to be so much more spectacular than the original
Great photos! I love black and white pics!
ReplyDeleteIt's so easy these days to take a photo and then make it B&W and see which appeals the most!
DeleteLove that grevillea.
ReplyDeleteYou and your daughter show a strong family resemblance.
It's a beautiful flower and huge!
DeleteI remember her once being very upset that she didn't look anything like me. Time seems to have resolved that nicely
Who is the person in the great lighting? That is a beautiful plant. Maybe I have to have one, too. Your daughter does look like you. She will cherish that picture for a long time.
ReplyDeleteThat is my older daughter, assembling an Ikea chair.
DeleteThe flower is called Grevillea Pink Flamingo. I think I loved the name as much as the flower :)
What a lovely glimpse into your life and perspective, Kylie.
ReplyDeleteHug,
U
Thank you, Ursula ♥
DeleteRummuser emailed this to me after blogger failed:
ReplyDelete"They are all great photographs. I like the topmost one best. Don't the children complain?"
My children are of the selfie generation, they LOVE having photos.
Interesting photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Red
Deletebbbbbbb..russel sprouts ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!
ReplyDeleteThe only other real thought I had was you need grand kids to fight the dog over who gets to lick the "spoon."
bacon makes brussel sprouts good! I normally lick the spoon myself but somehow I've been deposed!
DeleteBwahahahaha!
DeleteYour photos are gorgeous Kylie, I particularly like the ones of your pretty daughter and her beau (isn’t that a lovely word), you and your daughter and your lovely dog :-) And the black and white one is very atmospheric.
ReplyDeleteBeau really is a lovely word!
DeleteI'm surrounded by gorgeous things. It's not great for my ego but long may it last!
Thanks for sharing your slightly quirky pictures. They provide a different take on your suburban Sydney life. Unlike The Walking Man, I adore brussel sprouts. In fact I have enjoyed every kind of vegetable I have ever eaten - as long as it's fresh.
ReplyDeleteHow do you like to cook your sprouts?
DeleteWho knew broccoli and brussel sprouts could look so GOOD! I love how your dog still has his back legs up on the couch while licking the spatula! So sweet, the big lug!
ReplyDeleteBig lug is right!
DeleteThese are wonderful pictures, kylie! Your daughter looks VERY like you. And yes, to look so good so easy, indeed. If only we knew that when we were that age :)
ReplyDeleteLove Harry licking the spatula, what a hoot :)
Youth is wasted on the young!
