Is that a red flowering gum? Nice looking small tree, about the right size for a nature strip
Oh my goodness - so sunny!! Such a joy to see on this truly grey, miserable day in the UK!Sx
That is so pretty for a cold, flowerless day in December. Is that a crepe myrtle?
Cathy, It's a West Australian Flowering Gum, it's pink and it's called Summer Beauty. It's been there 20-ish years so smallish for it's age.Ms Scarlet, You're not having a fabulous winter in the UK. Hopefully things will improve.PP, it's a West Australian tree, they don't go so well here in the east so it's grafted onto a more resilient root
Nice photograph. The clear sky behind highlights the effect.
Ramana, I'm very fortunate to have small houses on every side so everyone has a little bit of room to breathe
