Gentle Holidays

Just this week I read somebody saying that they wish people "Gentle Holidays" because it reduces the expectation of happiness, which isn't possible for everyone.

There are many times when I like an idea but can't implement it and still feel genuine but this one has flowed easily from my emailing fingers all week.

Gentle Holidays to you, dear  readers. I value you all and would love to have a cuppa or a cold drink and a chunk of cake or maybe some shortbread with you to celebrate the season.

Much love,

Kylie

  1. How can I say this without compromising myself and yet make it right. A gentle Christmas and New Year season to you.

  6. There are many people who don't celebrate Christmas and so saying "Happy Holidays" expresses your very good wishes without offending their sensibilities. At the coffee shop today, all the baristas wished everyone Happy Holidays. It was delightful.
