Last time we met I said that I couldn't have a garden restricted to white flowers. I decided to list some of the things I would miss if the colour was taken out of our garden.
- The gorgeous deep purple of the "mini Ha Ha" flowers in spring.
- The pink and yellow flowering grevilleas.
- The raucous chatter and clowning of the lorikeets that come to feed on them
- and their stunning colours.
- The lovely piping call of the rosellas that also feed on them.
- The beautifully subtle colour variations of the gold, purple and cream freesias
- their fantastic perfume.
- The wonderful purple flowering tibouchina at Easter time
- The amazing Chameleon Rose. It starts out yellow, gets a pink edge on the petal as it opens and then the yellow fades so the flower ends it's life a soft pink and white. Three flowers in one!
