Oh dear.....

My goodness, you know the kitchen is a mess when you put the coffee maker in the laundry for want of room in the kitchen.
Clutter. Don't we all have it?
Ok, well maybe not all, but I think most of us struggle with the bring-one-in-chuck-one-out rule. I was just looking at my pantry, I can't shut the door and I can't figure out how it got that way.
How come I have balsamic vinegar, white wine vinegar, brown vinegar, white vinegar? What happened to the days of one vinegar?
It doesn't help that a friend moved overseas and gave me the contents of her pantry....I mean I didn't want her to throw it all out but I have never used caraway seeds, will I ever?
And I love rose water but I can't help thinking that my mother never found it neccessary to have rose water on hand. Why do I?

OOLF: Question from Dimples "what would happen if you shot a banana?" Where does a question like that come from?

  1. The answer to Dimples' question is simple: You won't have a banana! And Dimples, I advocate gun control, so be kind to bananas ~ they gave their life for you once...cut them some slack.

Kylie, the answer to your problem is a bit more complicated! You may have to get professional help. However, one solution is, just start using the stuff! Give the caraway seed to a neighbor and be done with them. Eat healthy...more salads, and the vinegar will disappear right before your very eyes. Rose water...rub it all over your arms every day. You'll feel as fresh as a daisy!

Have a great day my dear! Thanks for making me smile.

  2. Hey! that's not fair! You beat me to it. I was going to write about clutter .. sooner or later. We solved the 'can't shut the pantry door' problem by using an old bookshelf unit and placed it in the laundry just inside the back door and just outside the kitchen. No. It isn't tidy :) Oh and no vermin either, coincidentally.
    Cheers, Mark.

Suzanne made me laugh "Rose water...rub it all over your arms every day. You'll feel as fresh as a daisy!"

i bet you would write about clutter from a different perspetive, so still do it.now theres an idea...a blogging topic for the day/week...see what every body comes up with. on the downside it would be just like school, so maybe not.

  7. I knew I was from royalty. Unfortunately Ohno is trying to nurse my nose and prevent me from typing. Please, can somebody help me?! I don't think this is the roll of a queen. No really...I'm not kidding.

  9. I mostly white vinegar in salad dressings, but I remember my mum always used apple cider vinegar. It does have a different taste. I also have balsamic but haven't been game enough to open it yet. Then there was brown (which I haven't got in the cupboard). zI think we'll have to do some more cooking together. LOL
Like the rosewater idea Suzanne. Does anyone know how to make rosewater?
I'm not even going to comment on clutter. I think I'm related to the original clutter bug.
I'm laughing so much. You guys are killing me.
Suz, I like you pups name "OHNO". Do you create cartoons? You would make a fortune or bring a lot of laughter into the world. lol lol lol
