WE GOT THE CAR BACK!!!
The mechanic called this morning to tell me it was ready and you could have knocked me down with a feather. What more can I say?

Talking of goodwill I have to tell you that the kids made me some perfume this week :)
We had watched the movie "Perfume" and obviously they were pretty impressed with the whole idea because I came home from work on Monday to be presented with an old jar full of a kind of sweet, minty smelling water. I know that they used jacaranda leaves, frangipani and mint in their infusion, what else I didn't ask.
I thanked them profusely, of course and then told them that I might need to use it pretty fast or it might go mouldy. The girls wanted to know why it might go mouldy and hadn't realised that perfume is more normally in an alcohol base. That was probably good or I might have got Daddy's red wine infused with frangipani. Interesting.
I thought it was all very sweet and now it's blogged for posterity.

I can't wait to catch up with you all properly on Saturday.
