Hi All,
I had a great day. Well, actually it was a fairly ordinary day but I'm inexplicably on top of the world.
I had intended to go to work with the other half but woke up too late, got the lunches, blah, blah, blah....and managed to get going earlier than normal. I put caps on 500 bottles and was expecting that my arm might have dropped off by now but it seems to be still here and functioning.
Then I dropped by the shop for some stuff for the family's dinner, came home and cooked it, showered and put on one of my favourite tops and a pair of jeans, looked in the mirror and felt pretty reasonable.
A friend came over to pick me up for a quiet night out and we went to the local hotel, where I've never been but liked the look of. It was fantastic. I was happy with fish & chips, she had lamb shanks. It was beautifully cooked, great company, a few laughs. Brilliant.

Now I'm trying to figure out what to call her? Do I tell you her name? initial? make up a nickname? Hmmmmmm.........
She might post a comment, do I let her choose her own identity? or enforce one?

We've been friends almost 20 years. Too scary. She's feisty, straight talking, stylish & funny. No, I can't think of a suitable name. She'll have to introduce herself.
Get to it woman!

I'm gonna look silly now if she doesn't, aren't I?

Cheers to you all
k

  4. I think she should just be herself. Which of course leads me to ask, is your name actually Kylie? Please say yes!

What a beautiful day. I'm glad you have a wonderful friend to share it with. I remember when my "wonderful friend" was supposed to show up on my blog, but didn't. Perhaps some day.

I've missed talking to you and I apologize for not being here more often. I seem to have too much on my plate. I've been trying to get the gardens in order the past few days because I'm months behind. I'm sore and exhausted. I actually came in from the garden to get some info on the computer about how to prune crape myrtle, but peeked at blogger world instead, so here I sit. I'm too exhausted to move or thing hard! I saw your comment on Maithri's blog and loved it. Isn't he pretty terrific!?. I know. Honestly, I think he's a angel.

Cecile honey, I wrote to you on my blog last night. You'll laugh. Please read it before you leave for vacation. Peter, I know I haven't written. I will in the next day or two. I'm still waiting for your email. It didn't arrive. Bindi, God how I love you woman! Thank you for your visits and kind words. I love you all and am grateful every day to have you in my life.

Much love and hugs to one and all. We'll chat soon!
