I'm dying to post, you know, but apparently staring at a computer screen when you should be going to bed is not too helpful. The light going straight into your eyes makes your bodyclock think it's time to be awake and everything gets out of whack and you feel jet-lagged the next day.
Hmmmm........that might explain my terrible morning brain fog :)
Before you ask.....of course I'm not staring at the screen right now, I'm staring at the keyboard.
Hasta Manana !

  1. Hi Kylie,
I like your comment about the relaxed feel of our house. The fence was so relaxed it was falling over so Mark took it down earlier in the year. At the moment it looks better without the fence. Maybe after Helen's trip to France we might replace it. Funnily enough I still go down the path to go out when I could just walk through where it was.

  2. Funny about you going down the path, Jo. We're such creatures of habit, aren't we? walking down the path is probably helping to save your grass so keep doing it :)
I grew up in a house with a similar feel to yours....no fence, a couple of gum trees and an expanse of lawn with the house set well back from the street (mum & dad are still there, BTW) so your place reminds me very much of "home"
When we got this place it was also unfenced along the front. the block has a very long frontage but is very narrow front to back, so having it unfenced allows the nature strip to kind of become part of the front yard.
    enjoy your remaining weekend
    k
