I just have to tell everyone thank you so much for giving me a lovely birthday.
My wonderful children gave me lots of chocolates and a bunch of flowers picked from our garden, a work mate made me a spectacular paper orchid (well, that's what he said it was and I didn't have the heart to argue) friends called and texted, Mum & Dad dropped by for coffee, all you lovely bloggers made the kind of effort and fuss that I could only dream of and I started the year the way I expect to continue.....wondering what on earth to cook for dinner :)
Sydney is suffering a cold snap right now with overnight temperatures falling to single digits (please don't laugh if you are somewhere that gets seriously cold) No.1 son was at band camp for the weekend and tomorrow night is the concert, the tomboy has the "star of the week" award for her class and I have a day off on Friday. YAY
two words....
ReplyDeletesingle digits?

For Peter.
ReplyDeleteThere were a couple of typos in my prayer for your sister Em and yourself.
"Maturity."
Make "yourself" known ... etc
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU.
ReplyDeleteYOU LIVE IN A ZOO.
YOU LOOK LIKE A MONKEY
AND YOU SMELL LIKE ONE TOO.
Just having fun with ya. Don't overload on sugar. Well, on second thought, it is your birthday, so go ahead and overload on chocolate.
Look, I beat Suze here. And she was yelling at me on my blog about not reading what she types.
Mothers!!!!
Can't live with them and can't live without them.
Love ya, Much,
Cece

Your birthday sounded WONDERFUL!!! We celebrate birthdays for a week because who wants the fun to end. I like that the kids picked flowers from the garden. I bet that was a beautiful bouquet. You are so loved Kylie. You're a lucky woman. And being part of your day was an honor.

Love ya ~ hope you had a wonderful day. Oh, that's right, hope you're "having" a wonderful day (it's your day and my night, so why am I awake?)
