i had an unexpected performance review yesterday. it was not good. i am not respectful or progressive or excited enough, although my level of production is adequate.

i will take the criticism on board but i had thought i was going ok. it sucked.

  3. Having not had a review yet now i know what to expect in what may be said. We were supposed to have our reviews done by now but the C.E.O. stopped doing them when the accrediation was drawing nearer. That was 3rd & 4th July. Only the pca's are still having their's as they are being done by the charge nurse. I have a feeling the ceo won't get to do them. anyway i hope all will be well for you.
    Have a good weekend.

  7. I'm afraid that combined with your earlier post about halo girl, that doesn't sound good at all. The same thing happened to me last year, I was suddenly told my performance was inadequate and a few weeks later I was made redundant. If you value the job, I should start preparing your self-defence strategy right now....

  8. nick,
i plan on taking on board some key points about better communication and so on
as for becoming more progressive, well, that is harder.

i'm sorry about your redundancy. it is a very difficult thing to go through.

stay tuned for your next episode.......
