Yes, there are problems that result from rushing things.... I have heard it said that we get the birth we need. Its obviously one of those kind of new agey metaphysical ideas and doesn't always stand up but I think it has something to teach us about our attitude. Would we let birth and life unfold more gently if we believed it was what we needed?
You're most likely right, Alphie! If I manage 365 it will be the first time I've ever completed a new years resolution so I would like to do that (haiku is easier than exercise)

I think aiming for 100 haiku type posts would be a very commendable figure but that's just my opinion. And I'm sticking to it. :-)
