It's nearly April

These two were my commentary on a particularly horrific drowning in flood waters last week and the subsequent facebook commentary which lacked all humanity.

The title of this post is my best attempt to title a random assortment of thoughts, because I've done "Random thoughts" before.
The haiku-a-day project has stalled a bit but I'm still trying to write them frequently, lets see how many I have at the end of the year.

  5. *Flooding took Ayaz* : A startling line worthy of Robert Browning.
The price of instant communication is to witness the doom of people like us.
A thought for Holy Week and *the humble rabbi* who knows he must face death alone.

*Crickets/ Sing summer goodbye* reminds me of Elia Kazan's film Wild River.
Lee Remick is on a ferry with Montgomery Clift.
The leaves are blowing off the trees.
*I hate to see the summers go,* she says, thinking of her late husband.
