We had a gorgeous sunny day last week, I decided to try to photograph little joys around the house:
The magnolia trees are coming into flower. The one on the left is ours and the one on the right is in our neighbours place. Our tree was planted before we arrived here and I will never understand why it was placed in a dingy corner behind the garage. It's a shame we can't appreciate the whole tree but it's still pretty.
Love your pieces of joy, particularly the blissed out dog and the charming whimsy.
ReplyDeleteI adore magnolias. Cockatoos have destroyed trees we have planted so now I can only enjoy them in other people's gardens.
How are you doing dear friend?
I'm doing so well! I miss being able to drive because even though we're not supposed to go anywhere I can't even get out and buy groceries or post a letter. It's a small whinge in the scheme of things though
DeleteI am so glad to hear that you are doing well. So very glad.
DeleteObviously, you are up and about and having a bit of fun. I am happy to see that.
ReplyDeleteThanks Ramana! I'm doing pretty well
DeleteLovely Kylie. Sometimes the ordinary and everyday - like views of other peoples' back yards - is somehow comforting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Michelle! I'm always happy to peek into people's everyday.
DeleteThe donkey might be a camel? Are you doing Spring down under? A lovely time of year!

It's late winter here, Ms Scarlet, some days are positively summerish and some are chilly.
DeleteA camel? I hadnt considered that but it could be!
Your street watcher doesn't look as if she's watching that intently. Looks more like she's enjoying a rather pleasant daydream.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't miss a trick, even when she looks to be asleep!
