My friend invited me to Drag Bingo last night. She bought me dinner and paid for bingo, her partner bought the drinks. Her generosity is a great gift to me and one day I hope to be the one shouting.
I felt like I was missing a lot of jokes but I understood enough to have a great night but after hearing that voice, who cares about bingo?
I have never heard of drag bingo. But, dinner and bingo sounds like great fun. I have never had a show with Bingo. I love Bingo!
ReplyDeleteI've never played bingo before and it didn't grab me but thats ok, it was a fun night
DeleteIt does sound like a heap of fun (way out of my comfort zone but fun) - and I smiled at that clip. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt was fun and not really confronting in any way. I got lucky when I decided to video :)
DeleteHmmm. I have never played Bingo. I've never seen a drag artist in the flesh. What a sheltered life I've led.
ReplyDeleteThey were both firsts for me, Graham.
DeleteI also smiled watching the clip - I love the dancing style! Drag Bingo sounds terrific fun!
ReplyDeleteSx
Prada (the drag artiste) informed us that she had rolled her ankle and therefore couldn't dance properly! Now I want to go again
DeleteI have been to a couple of drag events and had a blast. I think drag bingo would be equally fantastic!
ReplyDeleteA couple of years ago I wanted to go to a drag show for my birthday but we ended up in lockdown so I was a drag virgin until now! Prada calls it a drag vegan....
DeleteWe don't have drag shows here nor Bingo. We have a game called Tambola which is very popular and almost all clubs have it played once a week.
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who often talks about tambola at fundraising events. For protestant groups who frown on gambling, the use of "tambola" probably feels more acceptable than bingo :)
