I miss the days when I blogged more regularly but somehow it seems that the less I blog, the more fussy I become about what is a good topic. And so it's a catch 22 where I edit new ideas out of existence and don't blog and then become even harsher with the editing!
In the absence of anything more significant to say, let me give you a dot point run down of what's current:
Reading: The Kindness Revolution
Wearing: pink hair and thrifted gems
Eating: Portugese tarts
Watching: Hoof Doctor videos (weirdly fascinating)
Cooking: roasted parsnip
Dreaming: of travel
Craving: chocolate
Enjoying: coolish weather before summer hits hard
Playing: Wordle and Waffle
I really like your little snapshot of where you are at the moment. Where would you like to travel?
ReplyDeleteI got a bit fixated with the Strzelecki track after I saw it on Back Roads but anywhere new is good. I'm going on the Indian Pacific just before Christmas
DeleteNice bit of sharing there. I have no idea what a Portuguese tart is, but I am pretty sure I want to try one!
ReplyDeleteFlaky pastry with a sweet, eggy custard filling. Crunchy, smooth, sweet and yum
DeleteThanks for letting me know. (sorry i posted as Anonymous. I have no idea why that happens sometimes)
DeleteSounds pretty good to me. Sometimes blogging can be a challenge. Many people just drop out even if they have a good blog.
ReplyDeleteRed, ive been blogging for so long now that the blog is an historic journal. I can't stop now.
DeleteAnd I still love doing it
I rarely have anything significant to say anymore, but I continue to blog.
ReplyDeleteLinda, we get something from the process or the relationships we build and that's why we do it
DeleteSame here regarding blogging!! And I am also playing Wordle regularly - I have an 82 day streak at the moment.
ReplyDeleteSx
I play on a variety of devices which all have their own count so I don't know my streak. Did you get ninja this week?
DeleteOh yes! Because in a fit of desperation I tried 'ninny' and then it fell into place! My trip hazard is American spelling - I'm sure you have the same issue. Words like 'Ardor' - groan.
DeleteSx
6 turns on Ninja here very tricky!

I didn't get it at all 😜
DeleteAn interesting snapshot of your present behaviour! I don't think I've ever had a Portuguese tart, they look rather tasty. I manage to find blog posts with surprising regularity, though sometimes I'm scratching my head for a day or two to come up with something that might appeal to my motley crowd of visitors.
ReplyDeleteYes you keep churning them out!
DeleteLove this snapshot, I'm like you wondering what to post apart from banging on about my health which bores the s--- out of me. I think about can we still dream in old age, where can I get a dose of energy, if I didn't emerge for a week would anyone worry. Etc. Not very interesting for a blog?

I think you can dream but there are no such easy answers on where to find energy.
DeleteIf your neighbours are anything like me, they'd eventually notice your absence but probably not fast enough to be useful
I often have thought that when you blog you are exactly on time Kylie!
ReplyDeleteJust like visiting blogs--when it happens it is just right.
Now about that Hoof Doctor...
Walking Man!!!!
DeleteIf anybody was going to be interested in hoof doctor, it's you
