There's a row of $1 coins on the bathroom window sill.
I go to Aldi, put $1 in the trolley and then when I have finished shopping, I put the dollar in my pocket. Next time I sit on the toilet, the $1 falls out of my pocket (because womens pockets)
I pick up the $1 and put it on the windowsill (because I don't trust the pockets)
My home making days are over and the majority of the family have long since got themselves new homes but I feel very "home maker" tonight. There's yogurt milk powder and water in the yogurt maker to become yogurt and there are beans soaking to be cooked tomorrow (the bar isn't real high)
I saw this recently.
I hope they are not too attached to that rear windscreen wiper.
( I was going to say rear wiper but that would be asking for trouble)
and that's two minutes you'll never get back!
No much else at the back of a modern car to tie anything to. I use a token for shopping trolleys, kept in the car.

ReplyDeleteI got a very good yogurt maker free and want it unpacked to make yogurt. Nope, not making it any other way.
My beans did not get a soaking. I sorted them, rinsed, and let cook in crockpot overnight. Delish.
comment by Practical Parsimony above. I forgot to say that as I sat on the commode my phone and a pill fell from my pocket. I wiped off both. Don't know if I took the pill or not.

DeleteWe abandoned this coins for carts and wheelchairs a loooong time ago. You'd think the digital age would have stopped it in other places too. My life is simple too. I find it hard to believe I would entertain crowds in my home. Now I put my face in my freezer and look at the packs and choose one for supper. Tonight it's sausages. Two meals out of those.
