it's often a case of "don't know what you've got till it's gone" but tonight i'm going to give thanks for a comfy bed and enough blankets. cliched but true.
Honey, I need a prayer. I've spend the last few hours talking to everyone else and laughing in and effort to avoid asking you. But I need you because my prayers aren't being answered by God or Saint Francis.
My cats are all gone. I have one left. I don't know what's happening. Maybe you could pray that any who are still alive find their way back to me. I'm almost physically sick with grief and hide it with laughter. Please help if you can. Kylie, I'm in absolute agony. I cry constantly and just can't seem to find my way through all of this. You speak so beautifully go God, so please help if you can.
Each night as we lay down to sleep my husband sighs and says, "I love this bed." I sigh in return and say, "Me, too." Something to be thankful for indeed.
[I am also thankful for a friend who prays for a friend and for the opportunity to join in with my own prayers in her behalf. Blessings to you and you and you ...]

Yes! It was so cold in the house last night, and the bed was so cozy and piled with featherbeds, I certainly second this thanks.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right. There's nothing better ( well, there is) than to snuggle up under the doona.
ReplyDeleteI love you. Thanks for your kind thoughts. I bought you another blanket. It was on sale at Ross!!! Keep cozy and warm.
