thanks #29

I am thankful for my Mum & Dad, that's them on the right.
What can I say?
they have loved us all through thick and thin,
they've done their best for us every day for 13730 days and counting.....
Anything good about me was probably learned at their knees.....
and my shambolic approach was most definitely not.

  1. I love seeing your family pic!!! Thanks for sharing. Great looking group!

    p.s.
Thanks for enriching my "brit slang" vocabulary with that delicious word "shambolic." I am on my way to my husband's domain -- the garage -- which is shambolic indeed and clearly in need of a drastic de-shambolic intervention before I can retrieve the Christmas decorations and bring them into the decidedly un-shambolic keeping room in my domain. (Have I got the word use down?)

I'm just transgressing Blog manners probably ... I really don't know. Just a question about Australian slang and not about the subject of this blog of Kylie's.
Did you know the meaning of Skippy? ---or a Skippy?
    Cheers,
    John.
