    1. That's the perfect description: fragile essential

  3. *Brown baby Jesus.*

Yes, he was a child of the eastern Mediterranean.
The Lord could only have been a Jew, and He came first for his own people, and then for us Gentiles. The world's only Saviour.

*A light to lighten the Gentiles and thy people Israel.*
Simeon's prayer is Pauline theology expressed in just 10 words.
Listen to it being sung on YouTube.

    1. YouTube.
Geoffrey Burgon (1941-2010) Nunc Dimittis from BBC's Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.

The sound quality is low, alas. But you can search for other recordings.

The Nunc Dimittis was the end theme of this spy drama of John Le Carre's, and many people wondered why. I think it was saying that Marxist Leninism was a Christian heresy, promising the kingdom of heaven now on earth.
These double agents like Kim Philby had committed their souls to another gospel, which the Apostle Paul warned the early church against. *Men of Galatea, who has bewitched you?*

Today the other gospel is One World Faith which sad Pope Francis is pushing.
Watch *Dr. Peter Jones: The Gnostic Gospel* (YouTube) and all Dr. Jones's other videos. He has the same Biblical theology as John MacArthur, Erwin Lutzer, John Piper.

    2. R.C. Sproul, whom Dr. Jones refers to at the start of his lecture, is another Reformed theologian on YouTube. A master theologian. A great teacher.
He went home to the Lord last year or the year before.
