That depends how you rate "worst". Toothache is bad, ear infection might possibly be worse. Childbirth is intense but at least there are rests. Psychic pain is another horrid experience.

All of them! anywhere there is good food and interesting stuff to do.
5. How late did you stay up last night?
About 11pm.
6. If you could move somewhere else, where would it be?
I love some of the older areas of Sydney. How about this redeveloped factory building with Anzac Bridge on one side and the harbour on the other?

Elephant's Child is the closest, about 3 hours drive from here.
10. When was the last time you cried?
I cry at anything or nothing so it was probably a sad video or something like that.

One of my kids.

I think the last was a picture of me and my friends from student days.
13. What's your favorite season?
Spring.
14. If you could have any career, what would it be?
Postnatal doula. I do both birth work and postnatal support right now but I love the postnatal the most.
15. Do you think relationships are ever worth it?
What would life be without relationships?
16. If you could talk to ANYONE right now who would it be?
I do talk to anyone so it would be the closest person. Or the one who started a conversation
17. Are you a good influence?
Yes. Except with Harry, who I indulge thoroughly.
18. Does pineapple belong on pizza?
No but it's yummy all the same.
19. You have the remote, what channel?
ABC (the national broadcaster) or SBS (the multicultural broadcaster) probably. SBS shows lots of foreign films, which I like.
20. Whom do you think will play along?
Someone who is stuck for ideas.
Since I am stuck for ideas, I shall play along and post all these questions with my answers in my next blog post.

ReplyDeleteYou are so right about psychic pain. On the physical front, an abscess on my fallopian tubes was something I don't want to experience again.
I have never heard of an abscessed fallopian tube before but abscesses always hurt a lot so no surprise!

If I could move somewhere else, it would be Australia. A bit late in the day now but if I had discovered Aus in my youth, I might well have moved. I just feel completely at home there.

DeleteA three hour drive is sometimes considered local. I have a friend who lives five hours away and we meet in the middle for coffee.
If I had the choice of moving anywhere, if I could, another commonwealth country sounds appealing. Definitely an English-speaking one.

Without doubt the day I fractured my neck. That pain was unremitting for the three weeks it took to be diagnosed.

36 years ago when my ex took my children out of my reach to physically be with them.

Only had it once, but being married to an Italian I doubt that experience will be repeated.

I would have thought that if you were drinking whiskey with Charles Bukowski, you wo uldnt much mind what kind it was?
when I was a drinker I didn't go top shelf but that bottom shelf crap was too hard on the mind. From what I know Bukowski really didn't care as long as someone else was paying.
DeleteIt's many years since I saw a meme. They were all the rage when I started blogging over 10 years ago. I think they are useful for getting to know people. I can't recall if I've ever competed one. Will I do this one? Perhaps if I ever find (ie allocate) the time.
